Assists the Learning & Development program to improve Company performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) by designing, delivering, measuring the impact and return on investment of training for all GXP employees. Implements process improvements and streamlining of learning techniques to sustain regulatory compliance.

 

essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assesses the knowledge and skill gap in GXP departments between current employee capabilities and those required to deliver performance matching or exceeding company goals.
  • Sources or creates training programs to deliver pragmatic training to employees primarily delivered via supervisors using train-the-trainer methodology.
  • Determines the appropriate learning activities based on job qualifications, needs assessment and learner analysis.
  • Performs training audits to assure compliance.
  • Assists in compiling data for Quality Metrics.
  • Uses Learning Management System to schedule, track and record company training events.
  • Explores new learning methodology to keep current within the industry.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to meet departmental and Company objectives.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and techniques.
  • Proficient at training and skill gap analysis.
  • Effective negotiation and consensus building skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in operating audio/video equipment.
  • PC proficiency using Microsoft Office suite.
  • Proficient at SME interviewing.
  • Ability to accurately determine training resource requirements.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Associate's degree, preferably in chemistry or science related field; or the equivalent in pertinent, progressive experience in the pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industry.
  • Three years' broad pharmaceutical experience.
  • Professional training certification a plus.

  6. Required to exert a negligible amount of force continuously and/or up to five pounds of force frequently and/or up to 25 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
